Abstract:
With the popularity of the Internet, free movie websites as a new way of watching movies are gradually changing people's movie viewing habits. This paper analyzes movie websites such as iQiyi, Tencent Video, and Mtime Cinema, and explores the impact and innovation of free movie websites on the traditional film and television industry. The study found that free movie websites have unique advantages in expanding movie viewing channels, providing diverse viewing choices, and promoting social interaction, while also facing challenges such as copyright issues, profit models, and content quality. In order to accurately assess the impact of free movie websites on the development of the film and television industry, this paper also conducted a user survey and empirical research, and put forward relevant suggestions. It is hoped that this research can provide useful reference and thinking for the development of free movie websites.
